Merlin Hanbury-TENISON

THE CUSTONIAN OF CABILLA

Cabilla is Merlin’s beloved family home and after serving in the forces and working in the city he returned to unexpected challenges. A farm that was failing and one of the UK’s last remaining fragments of Atlantic temperate rainforest being ravaged by overgrazing. Merlin began a fight to save one of the world’s most endangered habitats and founded The Thousand Year Trust

With the help of his wife Lizzie, Merlin runs Cabilla Corwall and we are delighted that Merlin will be leading a walk through the ancient forest and surronding land during our retreat.
